Primary First Counselor
Yesterday I was released from my calling as Sunbeam teacher and made the First Counselor in the Primary Presidency. I will miss teaching my little Sunbeam very much but will still get to see him on a weekly basis. My work started right away and I was conducting Primary right after Sacrament Meeting! I look forward to serving the Lord in this new calling and getting to know the sisters and children in this ward better. There is much I still have to learn since moving into this ward 7 months ago.

Kaye, I was recently released as a counselor in Primary. It was a very rewarding calling. You will love it. My responsibilities were to write the annual Sacrament Meeting program, and I was over Activity Days and over sharing time, class presentations, etc. I preferred that than being over the baptisms. But whatever you do, it will be worth it. I do miss the kids and I really HATE being in Relief Society. I can hardly get my daughter to go with me. She thinks it is for old people. (so do I, but sadly I am one of the old people). Good luck with that and also congrats on your weight loss. That is awesome!
