Making Changes

Moving brings on a lot of changes! Thursday we met with the bank and locked in our interest rate. When we first started looking the interest rate was 6.62%, then it dropped to 6.25% and Thursday we locked it in at 5.75%. What a blessing from the Lord! Friday was the inspection. We are meeting with our realtor on Monday to sign the acceptance of the inspection papers. The appraisal is being set up for next week . After that all we have to do is wait for the bank and escrow and then we'll be able to close. It is certainly a nerve racking time!

Yesterday we worked hard to pack and downsize. We are moving from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom so we need to get rid of a lot of stuff. Our poor birds are having a hard time with all the changes. Since we'll be moving things around and having the door open more often we decided to move them to the office so they'll be safe. They are being very afraid lately and take off flying from the slightest noise or movement. The move will be hard on them too. They are creatures of routine. Here is a photo of some of them eating their broccoli this morning and playing on the tower because I sprayed it down with water. The love to lick up the water and wipe their wings all over the wet tower. They are such sweet creatures and bring us so much joy.
