We've had three birds sick in the last week. First Bella had a blood feather. We had to rush her to the emergency room before she bleed to death. Then Billy Bob got an infection. He has had to have two anti-biotic shots. Then Allie got a paralyzed leg. We discovered this stemmed from an inflamed liver that is pressing on her nerves. It could be up to two months before she is able to control that leg (if ever again). It's been a very expensive and stressful week!
Tonight Christopher and I went to Elizabeth and Bret's to visit with them and Cameron. We had a wonderful time! Cameron was such as show off (as he usually is). He played ball with Christopher and then Christopher chased him around the house, hiding and jumping out to surprise him. Cameron loves to be read to and
he kept wanting Elizabeth to read the same book over and over again. He finally let me do a little bit of reading. I guess I don't read the book the same way Elizabeth does. I will post a video of Elizabeth reading to Cameron and him making the sound "hush". It's so cute!Thursday night Elizabeth and Bret will drop Cameron off while they go to Southern California on a vacation! We'll have him from Thursday at bedtime to Monday at bedtime. Christopher will take care of him alone on Friday and then I'm taking a vacation day on Monday to stay home with him. I can't wait! Spending time with my Cameron brings me a lot of happiness! How did we ever survive before he was born!

I can't believe he will now sit still long enough to read a book. He is very cute saying "hush". I can't wait to see him at Christmas.
