We've been making some more changes around the house. We don't have a lot of kitchen cabinet space and most of the bottom cupboards have only a half shelf in them. My arms are too short to reach all the way to that back shelf. :) So, we put in some gliding drawers that give us more room and make accessinig our dishes easier. Here is a photo of one of our cupboards. On the right side you can see that the top and the bottom both slide out.
We also have very little clearance under our kitchen sink. We were having to use a very small garbage can. But, we found this wonderful "caged" garbage can that slides in and out allowing you to put the garbage in while it's pulled out and then slide it back under the sink. We love it! What a great space saving idea.
We had some beautiful paintings in gold frames in our living room at our apartment. One of Mikes clients had given them to him as a gift. One of them broke in the move (gold frame and glass). It was reparable but was going to cost more money than we were willing to spend. So, while looking for a new frame we came upon something that we just loved. A copy of Van Gogh's "Irises"! We found it at a discount store and it cost less than a new frame without the glass. We bought it home and hung it over the couch. I wish it was the real thing but I guess a print will have to do!

I have the exact same problem with my cupboards. They are a huge box with 1/2 a shelf (very skinny) at the back. I love this solution. I am going to have to look around for this product. With my large family I NEVER have enough storage space and this would work really well for me.
Looking good, Im glad you found a way to cure the problem.
