Monday Mike and Christopher took Allie back to the vet. She just wasn't getting better and really appeared to be suffering (which was breaking my heart). She was starting to develop tumors on her eyes. We went to the vet knowing that we would probably have her put to sleep. The doctor said the tumor on her liver had spread and was moving through out her body. Mike and Christopher had her put to sleep. I'm so sorry that she suffered so much the last week of her life but I had to try to save her first.

Sorry about Allie. You can sure tell a difference in the two pictures. The healthy picture she had such vibrant color and the sick picture not so well. Are you going to get anymore birds?
No more birds for me. We figured out last night that we've had 7 birds pass away and we still have 7! I can't take the deaths so I'll just enjoy these birds.

Sorry about Allie. I vowed no more pets when the kids all left. Too hard losing one of them. Your time with Cameron looks like a lot of fun. Yes, I do blog with Mrs. Moen from Norway. When I found her blog I had to write and let her know we are Moens too. I do enjoy this blogging thing.
