Feeding the Birds

Thankfully, our birds are shielded and protected from the elements outside. We started thinking about the birds outside and how they must be cold and hungry. Monday when I was home from work Christopher went outside and left food for the wild birds (mostly crows). First we left bread but then we ran out of bread. So we left Ritz crackers and finally tortillas! Here is a video of the birds swarming for the food after Christopher put it out. Christopher has been out feeding the birds again today. He said he saw some very skinny and sickly looking birds, but they got some food. According to the news rain should start moving in and clearing up this mess! Then the birds can find food on their own once again.
