This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting a friend I have known via e-mail and telephone since July 2005. I met Terry on the Il Divo Forum and became instant friends. We have enjoyed so much time together in the past and have always looked forward to the day we met. She promised she would get to Seattle someday and it finally happened! I picked Terry and Vito up at the Airport on Friday, August 29th. It was such a pleasure to finally see Terry and Vito and be able to spend some time with them in person. 
We went to lunch at Elliot Bay Pub and Brewery which we all enjoyed. Then we took a drive to the Des Moines Marina for some beautiful views of Puget Sound. We hoped for a view of Mt. Rainer but the clouds would not subside. After meeting Mike and a short visit at our home we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in downtown Seattle. It was a very busy night in Seattle and Terry and Vito had a wonderful time getting to know the city.
Saturday morning we went to Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle. I have rarely seen it so crowded. We could hardly move so our visit didn't last long. We met up with some of Terry and Vito's friends that we going on the cruise with them and had dinner at McCormick and Schmicks in downtown. The food and atmosphere were fabulous! What a fabulous visit we had with these special friends. The Il Divo Forum had it perks and finding such a good friend was one of them!
